Philip Alfred Mickelson, also known as Lefty, is an American professional golfer. His first wins as a professional took place in the year 1993. He won for two times. During the years 1990, he created history by making himself as one of the four golfers to win PGA Tour more than 12 times. Talking more about Lefty, till now he has won 43 PGA Tour events, which include three major championship titles, three Masters titles, one PGA Championship, and one Open Championship

Jack William Nicklaus is also known as The Golden Bear. He is a retired American professional golfer. He is popularly known as the greatest professional golfer of all time. He has won 18 career championships.

5. Gene Sarazen

Born: 27 February 1902

He won 39 events of PGA Tour

He was the first golf player to win the career grand slam and was the first class of inductees into the World Golf Hall of Fame in the year 1974.

He turned as a pro player in 1920 when he won the major cups as U.S open in 1920, PGA Championship in 19222 when he was only 20 years old. He won three major titles in 1922- 23, and in 1932-35 he won four more major championships. He died in 1999 and was the longest-serving member of the PGA of America.

6. Ben Hogan

He won ten tournaments in 1948, including the U.S. Open at Riviera Country Club

He is popular for his golf swing theory and his legendary ball-striking ability. He is treated as the greatest shot maker of golf has ever produced. 7. Sam Snead

Born: 27 May 1912
Place of birth: Ashwood, Virginia, United States
He has cornered 82 PGA Tour wins from 1936 to 1965

Using a smooth, syrupy swing, he won more golf tournaments. He posted wins in four different decades, starting from the 1936 West Virginia Closed Pro to the 1965 Greater Greensboro Open. Besides, he won three Masters titles, three PGA Championships and a British Open match. However, he never able to win a U.S. Open. In 1979, he became the first player to score below his age, by shooting 67 and 66 in the Quad Cities Open. He won total seven major championships.

8. Arnold Palmer

He cornered total 60 PGA Tours wins

Arnold Daniel Palmer, an American professional golfer who is famous as one of the greatest golf players in the history of golf. Starting from 1955, he won a lot of events, including both the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour Champions.

Talking about Arnold’s professional career, he recorded victory at the 1955 Canadian Open.  After that the continued to display some powerful performance and bag some series. 9. Bobby Jones

Born: 17 March 1902

He founded the Augusta National Golf Club

He won his first U.S. Open in 1923 at New York’s Inwood Country Club. He won 13 major championships in total 20 attempts. He was the first golf player to win The Double, i.e., the U.S. and British Open Championship in 1926. In 1930 he won the U.S Open and U.S. Amateur and became the second to win those titles. Besides, he won the title four times, in 1924,1925, 1927, and 1928.

In 1916, he cornered the championship title of Georgia Amateur, in 1917, 1918, 1920 and 1922 he won the Southern Amateur, in 1927 and 1930 he won the Southern Open.
In his life, he played in total 31 Majors, won 13 and for 27 times he finished in top 10 ranking. After suffering from syringomyelia, a painful disease, he died on 18th December 1971.

10. Tom Watson

Born: 4 September 1949
Place of birth: Kansas City, Missouri, United States
He won 39 events of PGA Tours

He won 8 Majors and started dominating the oldest tournament of Golf, i.e., the British Open. He won 5 matches in just nine years and 2009 he won his 6th British Open title. Just like Trevino, he won four memorable duels in major championships, which included the 1977 British Open.

As per the McCormack’s World Golf Rankings, he was the number one golf player in the world from 1978 until 1982. In 1983 and 1984, he was ranked in second place behind Seve Ballesteros.

Considering his performance in 2009 and early 2010 and the 1982 U.S. Open victory, the USGA offered him a special exemption to the 2010 U.S. Open. Watson is the only golf player who participated in all the major championships like Pebble Beach 1972, 1982, 1992, 2000, the U.S. Opened in 2010, and PGA Championship in 1977.

Talking about his recent victory, he won the 2018 Masters Tournament at the age of 68, and the victory has made him as the oldest golf player ever to win the event.
